Elie Saab presented his collection spring/summer 2014, like each year the designer impressed with his dresses straight out of a fairy tale. This collection reflects really the spring and summer with flowers, fresh design, sober color even if some dresses were black, the design of the dresses are glamour and elegant. The perfect words to describe Saab’s collection.
Elie Saab is a great designer. His collection is always sensual and glamour. He perfectly knows how to create a dress that put in values the curves of a women, without being too much. This collection confirmed again that Elie Saab is one of the top designers haute couture.
I have recently ordered myself the strter kit of the mineral make-up Sheercover…not impressed…
The kit comes with:
mineral foundation (there are a few shades to chose from)
Mascara and extending fibers
concealer trio compact
The mineral foundation did not stay on my face all day, it seemed to fall into the pores of my face, giving me a weird blotchy look. The concealer looked cakey underneath the mineral powder as well.
I am not really sure how this was used to cover somones birth mark or skin condition because it didnt even cover a tiny scar on my cheek…
I did not mind the mascara, it seperated my eyelashes very nicely and i do like the mineral bronzer as well.
I think i will be cancelling my subscription and stick with my trused bare minerals!
If you dont have oily skin at all or zero breakouts or dark imperfections on your face i think this would be something for you.. which is not most of us women, and if you didnt have any of those you dont need to be wearing foundation in the first place… lucky duck (whoever you are)!
I have just recently purchased WEN the cleansing conditioner (yes from the infomercial), I had just seen the advertisement on TV so many times in the morning before work, and of course… being me… I had to try it!
So far it has made my hair a little shinier and softer to the touch, but I have only had it for about 2 weeks… They say that it is also supposed to help it grow, repair it, and make your hair more manageable. SO WE WILL SEE… I will give you all another update, in a few weeks, as to how and/or if my hair’s health has improved, or if I have some rapid growth.
Here is the link for the page where you can sign up to receive it every month, you can cancel the subscription of you don’t like it or if you want to order on your own time.
There are a few different fragrances, like: fig, Pomegranate, ect… Also, they have couple different size kits to order, for your first try I would recommend the basic ($29.99).
The one I have is sweet almond mint… the mint makes your scalp feel extra clean. I really like this feeling in the morning, it helps me wake up!
Ho Ho Ho! Eyeshadows, nail polishes, and body splashes galore!
I have a few great gift ideas that would satisfy even the pickiest of girls/women in your life. many of the products that I have to share with you are by e.l.f., because they are the most affordable and that I have had the most wonderful results with as well.
One of the best purchases that I have made in the past year is the e.l.f. 144 color eyeshadow palette, I have used everything from the red colors for my devil Halloween costume to the purple shades when I go out, and the earthy tones for everyday!

You’ve been applying the same makeup since last Christmas. You’re feeling less than inspired, and bored stiff is not the look you’re going for. You are in a makeup rut. But don’t worry, it’s easy to break out if you’re willing to embrace change.
Change is good! It’s fun to switch things up, experiment, and step out of the comfort zone, noting that it’s important to try new shades, textures, and looks in order to “discover beauty in the unexpected.”
Step 1: Know Yourself
“Everyone wants to look good and feel good. Knowing yourself is the most important way to start expressing a look that’s best for you. Take a good gaze at yourself in the mirror and ask what you’re happy with and what you’d like to improve or change.”
Face charts are a great starting point. Print out some blank templates (search…
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve always repurchased Aussie Miracle Moist conditioner because I refused to change something that worked perfectly for me. I’ve never really ventured into the ‘high-end’ hair care world but when lookfantastic sent me this Redken Body Full Light Conditioner*, I got my first taste (whiff, sniff, lather?) of the posh stuff. I’ve heard about Redken numerous times, I’ve always seen good things written about it and I can honestly say, this conditioner is a match for my Aussie and I’ve already repurchased a full sized bottle.
It’s described as a light conditioner, that detangles and feels weightless on the ends. The consistency is more like shampoo than conditioner which worried me a little, I do expect my conditioner to be thicker than my shampoo but clearly this isn’t necessary. I only apply this to the bottom half of my hair where it’s needed more, it was…
